System Compatibility and Integration

The PMS-02HT180 uses a standard C-Mount interface and can be integrated with compatible industrial machine vision cameras with sensor formats up to 1 inch.

The final camera should be selected according to sensor size, pixel size, required field of view, smallest detectable feature and measurement accuracy. A steering prism can also be used when the installation space requires a folded optical path.

External coaxial illumination can be configured for flat reflective surfaces, while a telecentric or parallel backlight is recommended for high-contrast silhouette and edge measurement.
