75mm 10MP C-mount FA lens for 1-inch sensors, with F2.8–F22 iris, 0.5m–infinity focus, low distortion and 420–1000nm response.
The POMEAS PMS-75MCVP10M is a 75mm fixed focal length machine vision lens designed for industrial cameras with sensor formats up to 1 inch. It combines 10MP imaging support, a standard C-Mount interface, manual focus, manual iris control and a broad 420–1000nm wavelength response.
With its relatively long 75mm focal length, this industrial camera lens is suitable for applications that require a narrower field of view, increased camera-to-object distance or detailed observation of a selected inspection area.

The actual field of view depends on the camera sensor size, working distance and installation configuration. The following optical angles are provided for initial camera and lens matching.
| Sensor Format | Diagonal | Horizontal | Vertical |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1" | 12.3° | 9.7° | 7.4° |
| 1/2" | 6.2° | 4.8° | 3.8° |
| 1/3" | 4.7° | 3.6° | 2.7° |
At the minimum focusing distance of approximately 0.5m, the stated object coverage values are shown below. Values are listed in the original order of diagonal × horizontal × vertical.
| Sensor Format | Object Coverage at Minimum Focus |
|---|---|
| 1" | 88.8 × 72.16 × 52.8mm |
| 1/2" | 45.2 × 36.2 × 27.1mm |
| 1/3" | 34.1 × 27.2 × 19.8mm |
The PMS-75MCVP10M provides controlled distortion across different sensor formats. The specified distortion is 0.72% at a 1-inch image circle, 0.16% for a 1/2-inch format and 0.10% for a 1/3-inch format.
This makes the lens suitable for visual inspection, object recognition, positioning and dimensional feature analysis where excessive image deformation could affect software processing or inspection consistency.
In addition to visible-light imaging, the lens supports wavelengths extending into the near-infrared range. This provides greater flexibility when the vision system uses visible illumination, red light or compatible near-infrared illumination to enhance differences between materials, surfaces or printed features.
The final imaging result still depends on the spectral sensitivity of the industrial camera, the selected illumination wavelength and any optical filter installed in front of the lens.
This lens is designed for C-Mount area-scan industrial cameras with sensor formats up to 1 inch. It may also be used with smaller formats such as 2/3", 1/1.8", 1/2" and 1/3", although the resulting field of view will become narrower as the sensor size decreases.
Before selection, confirm the camera model, sensor dimensions, pixel size and required image resolution. A lens that physically covers the sensor does not automatically guarantee that the required field of view or inspection accuracy will be achieved.
A 75mm industrial lens is generally selected when the camera must be installed farther from the target or when the inspection requires a narrower field of view than a 25mm, 35mm or 50mm lens can provide at the same distance.
Compared with shorter focal length lenses, the PMS-75MCVP10M can help reduce the amount of surrounding background captured in the image and concentrate the available camera pixels on a smaller inspection region.
For another 75mm option designed around a smaller 2/3-inch camera format, review the 75mm C-Mount machine vision lens for 2/3-inch cameras .
For measurement applications where magnification must remain stable as the object height changes, consider a C-Mount telecentric lens for machine vision measurement .

Yes. The specified maximum sensor format is 1 inch with an approximately 16mm image circle. The camera must also use a compatible C-Mount interface.
Yes. A smaller 2/3-inch sensor can be covered by a lens designed for a 1-inch format. However, the field of view will be narrower than it is with a 1-inch sensor under the same working-distance conditions.
The specified wavelength range is 420–1000nm, covering visible light and part of the near-infrared spectrum. The camera sensor and illumination must also provide sufficient response at the selected wavelength.
Yes. Provide the camera sensor size, working distance and required object coverage. POMEAS can evaluate whether the 75mm focal length produces the required field of view.
It can be used for general feature measurement and inspection after system calibration. For high-accuracy dimensional measurement where perspective error and magnification variation must be minimized, a telecentric lens is usually more appropriate.
