PMS18VP2510 is a C-mount industrial camera lens developed for sensor formats up to 1 inch. It can also be installed on machine vision cameras using smaller sensor formats, including 1/2 inch and 1/3 inch.
When the lens is used with a smaller image sensor, the industrial camera captures the central portion of the lens image circle. This produces a smaller field of view and uses the central optical area of the lens.

For the best image quality, the camera resolution, pixel size, sensor format, working distance and required inspection area should be evaluated together rather than selecting the lens only by megapixel rating.
420–1000nm VIS-NIR Industrial Lens
The lens supports wavelengths from 420nm to 1000nm, covering visible light and part of the near-infrared range. It can therefore be used as a VIS-NIR machine vision lens with suitable industrial lighting.
Possible lighting options include white, red and near-infrared machine vision light sources. The final imaging result depends on the material, surface reflectivity, illumination wavelength and camera sensor response.
Manual Focus and Manual Iris Control
