Working distance (WD) is the distance from the front mechanical face of the lens to the object plane. In a zoom lens it is not a free parameter: the optical design fixes it, and every model in a family tends to share one value. POMEAS publishes WD on each product page, so the practical question is not "what WD can I get" but "which model gives me the WD I need".
Below is the complete WD distribution across the current zoom catalogue, extracted from the published pages.

All values below are transcribed from the published product pages. Blank cells mean the value is not published for that model — treat as 待确认, not as zero.
A continuous zoom lens moves lens groups inside the barrel. To keep the image plane fixed while magnification changes, the mechanical travel is designed around a nominal object distance. 77–88 mm is the compromise that keeps the barrel short enough to mount on a standard bracket while leaving room for a ring light and a protective window.
That is also why WD cannot be extended with a spacer ring: adding distance moves the object away from the design plane and the lens loses focus at one end of the zoom range.
Clearance. More WD means room for fixtures, probes, air knives or a protective window. It does not improve resolution.
Field of view. For a fixed magnification, FOV does not change with WD — FOV is set by sensor size and magnification. WD changes what fits physically in front of the lens, not what the lens sees.
Depth of field. At a fixed magnification the DOF is set by the aperture and the magnification, not by WD. Do not choose a longer WD expecting more DOF.
Working distance is also the budget for light. A ring light, a coaxial module or a dome light all sit inside the WD, and each one eats 10–30 mm of it. This is the most common reason a lens that "works on the bench" cannot be integrated: the WD was confirmed against the part, not against the part plus the light.
Two practical rules. First, confirm WD with the illumination mounted, not on an bare lens. Second, if the light has to be coaxial, check whether the lens is published in a coaxial configuration at all — some models are external-illumination only, and no adapter changes that.
No. At a fixed magnification, FOV is determined by sensor size and magnification. Longer WD only moves the lens further from the part.
Not on a zoom lens. The zoom groups are designed around a nominal object plane; a spacer shifts the whole range out of focus.
Different mechanical variants with different front-end configuration. Both are published values on their own pages.
No. WD is object-side; back focal length is the distance from the last lens surface to the sensor.
Fix the standoff from your fixture drawing, then look up which model publishes that WD. If nothing matches, the constraint is the family, not the part.
